Summary part 3

The story starts with a girl named Emma. she usually doesn't socialize with anybody but her dolls and that pretty much creeps other people around her too. The story goes on just like everyday lives of Eli except that There's a family that's going to move in. So as a tradition Cooter and Eli went to school and rang the liberty bell

The liberty bell is not an ordinary bell, it's a gift from other former slaves that live in America because they're proud of Buxton. So the new family consisted of 5 people that's why they rang it 100 times. The new family greeted everybody and try to be familiar with them by asking and trying to gather informations and rules that they should acknowledge about this settlement.

Eli mentioned about his favorite chore which is going to pick the mails. That day he intended to pick the mail but before that he went and asked everybody who was waiting for the mail so he can pick up quickly. After that he went and get his mails and there's one for Ms. Holston and when he took it for her she told him to read it for her so he did. He learned the truth about Ms. holston and he just can't help it but cry.

After coming back from Ms.Holston, His father told him that there's going to be big event coming. The next day father told him that they're going to go picnic and needed him to invite more people. after they go there, they started to have little chit chat about children and how beautiful the environment they saw after they're free.
